Dash-Dock · Returns
Send it back.
No hard feelings.
Fourteen days from delivery, unused and in the condition it arrived. Email first so I know it is coming. The full policy is on this page — there is no separate document with extra rules in it.
Four numbers.
If you only read one part of this page, read this row. Everything below explains it.
Four steps.
Email first. A tray that shows up with no order number in the box is a tray I have to guess about.
-
01
Email within 14 days of delivery
Write to dashdock.sales@gmail.com with your order number, which tray, and why it is going back. One line is enough.
-
02
Wait for the reply
You get an answer, usually within one business day, with where to send it. Please do not ship it before you hear back — an unannounced box can sit for weeks because nothing on it tells me who it belongs to.
-
03
Pack it the way it arrived
Unused, in original condition, packed so it cannot move around in the box. If you still have the packaging it came in, use it. Put a note with the order number inside.
-
04
Refund once it is back and checked
The product price goes back to the original payment method once the tray arrives and checks out. It is not instant — a card refund can take several business days to show on your statement.
Start the return here
Fill this in and it writes an email to me with every answer already in it. You still press send in your own email app. That email is what starts the 14-day clock, so send it the same day you fill this in.
Where the line is.
Plain boxes, no fine print. This is the whole rule set.
| Situation | Can it go back? | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Wrong tray ordered, unopened | Yes | Refund of the product price within the 14-day window. Return postage is on you. |
| Changed your mind, tried once, still like new | Yes | Refund of the product price if it is unused and in original condition. A tray with marks on it is not unused. |
| Does not seat flush in a listed factory pocket | Yes | Email a photo of it seated and you get a refund or a swap. This is the case the policy exists for. |
| Arrived damaged or you got the wrong tray | Yes | My mistake, so return postage is on me. Photo of the box and the tray, then a refund or a replacement. |
| Overload ordered for a one-hole truck | Yes, if unused | The Overload needs two factory bolt holes and will not fit a one-hole dash. Send a photo first and I will tell you before you order. |
| Cut, drilled, glued, or otherwise modified | No | A modified tray cannot be resold. Email anyway if something is wrong — there may still be something I can do. |
| Past 14 days from delivery | Normally no | Email and explain. Late with a reason is different from late with no contact, but I cannot promise anything past the window. |
| Shipping cost on a change-of-mind return | Not refunded | What you paid for the tray comes back. What it cost to send it back does not. |
Fitment, so you never need this page.
Most returns happen because the truck was not checked first. Two minutes fixes that.
What these fit
Freightliner Cascadia 2018 or newer, cab 116 or 126, factory dash slots. Cascadia Tray, Mini, and Wide Load slide straight in. No drill, no adhesive.
Any other truck is not confirmed. Email a photo of the pocket before you order and you get a straight answer, including a no.
Full fit help is on the support page.
Overload — two holes only
The Overload needs two factory bolt holes in your dash. It will not fit a truck with one hole. Count them before you order.
Not sure it fits? Send a photo of your dash to dashdock.sales@gmail.com and I will tell you.
One thing on use. These trays are storage, not a hands-free setup. Keep your eyes on the road and load or unload them when you are parked. That is the only place this belongs.
Return questions.
If yours is not here, email it. You get a real reply, not a form letter.
Do I need to email before sending it back?
Yes. Email first and wait for a reply with the address. A box that turns up with no order number and no warning is hard to match to anyone, and it slows the refund down.
Who pays the return shipping?
You do, unless the tray arrived damaged or I sent the wrong one. In that case it is my mistake and I cover it. Shipping on the way out is free on every tray either way.
How long does the refund take?
The refund is issued once the tray is back and checked. After that, how fast it lands depends on the payment method — a card can take several business days to show it. That part is out of my hands.
Can I swap instead of refund?
Yes, when the size you want is in stock. Say which tray you want in the first email and I will tell you whether it can go out right away or whether there is a wait. No swap happens on a maybe.
I ordered the Overload and my truck has one bolt hole.
Send it back unused and it is refunded under the normal 14-day window. The Overload needs two factory bolt holes and does not fit a one-hole dash — that is on the product page and on the card, so check before ordering next time, or send a photo of the dash first and I will point you at the right tray.
What if it does not sit flush in a listed pocket?
Email a clear photo of it seated within 14 days of delivery. That is a fit problem on a truck these are built for, so it gets a refund or a swap. This is the case the policy is really for.
Can I return something I modified?
No. A tray that has been cut, drilled, or glued cannot be resold. Email anyway if something is wrong — depending on what it is, there may still be something I can do, but I am not going to promise that here.
